Support for Every Adult

Augusta Levy offers evidence-based behavioral and social services for adults ages 18–64. Our programs help adults strengthen communication, daily living abilities, problem-solving skills, and independence. Services take place in the clinic, in the home, and throughout the community, and each plan is tailored to the individual’s goals, needs, and preferred outcomes.

Adult Services

Adult ABA

Adult ABA services help individuals build practical skills that promote confidence, independence, and improved quality of life. Each adult receives an individualized assessment followed by a treatment plan focused on meaningful, functional goals.

Communication & Self-Advocacy

Developing verbal, social, and functional communication needed for everyday interactions and decision-making.

Daily Living Skills

Support for cooking, hygiene, home routines, personal organization, meal prep, and home safety.

Behavior Support & Regulation

Helping adults understand triggers, develop coping strategies, and build positive behavior patterns.

Community Access Skills

Practicing real-life tasks such as transportation use, grocery shopping, restaurants, appointments, and social participation.

Adult Services

Supported Employment

Supported Employment helps adults prepare for meaningful work by providing job readiness training, career exploration, employer connections, and on-the-job coaching. This program is offered in partnership with the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS).

Intake & Planning

Adults apply through WV DRS and select Augusta Levy as their provider. Together, we identify strengths, interests, and employment goals.

Job Readiness & Skill Building

Clients practice soft skills, interview skills, workplace behavior, productivity, and social communication.

Career Exploration

We help clients explore employers that match their goals and interests.

Employer Partnerships & Trial Shifts

Clients participate in trial work experiences at local businesses, always accompanied by a trained job coach.

Job Placement

When a match is found, we assist with applications, onboarding, and early employment support.

Long-Term Coaching

Ongoing check-ins help clients maintain progress and adjust to new workplace challenges.
DRS

What a Job Coach Provides

A job coach works directly with each client to build confidence, strengthen workplace behaviors, and support success on the job. Coaches provide hands-on guidance during trial shifts, help navigate new routines, offer constructive feedback, and reinforce skills needed for long-term employment. Their goal is to ensure every client feels prepared, capable, and supported throughout the employment process.

Support Where It Matters

Adult services are offered in the clinic, at home, in workplaces, and throughout the community. Each environment supports real-life learning and helps adults practice new skills in the settings where they will use them most.
